For maintenance and repairs, the metering point operator, usually your local network operator, is responsible. For any questions regarding this, please contact them directly.
Your local network operator will ask you to take a reading once a year. However, you can read your meter at any time and report it to us via our energy portal to avoid estimates. In the portal, you will find an input form for the current meter reading under ‘Do it yourself’ or ‘What would you like to do?’. Of course, the current meter reading can also be submitted via email or telephone. If the meter reading is required for generating an invoice, we will notify our customers in advance, asking them to submit a reading. The basic supplier also requests a meter reading once a year from all electricity customers, regardless of which provider supplies you.
No problem! Adjust the amount of your instalment in the energy portal, for example, if you've installed a photovoltaic system or are using more energy-efficient devices. The easiest way to change your instalment is through the energy portal.

No, just take your Prokon electricity contract with you to the new address. The price guarantee remains valid, and you can easily report your move via our energy portal.
Before you can log into the energy portal at any time using your personally chosen username and password, you must register once. For this, you will need your customer and contract number. After that, you can set your personal login details and access the energy portal via a browser on your PC, tablet, or smartphone at https://mein.prokon.net. The password must contain at least 8 characters, which can include uppercase and lowercase letters, special characters, and numbers. Spaces are not allowed.

Yes, your data is secure. It is transmitted in encrypted form. The biggest point of vulnerability is if you use very simple passwords like "12345678", which can be easily cracked by potential attackers through simple guessing. Therefore, always use special characters or combinations of uppercase and lowercase letters as well as numbers.
