Aim of the campaign
Convinced members of Prokon eG (hereinafter referred to as ‘Referrer’) inspire friends, neighbours, colleagues, relatives, family members or other persons (hereinafter referred to as ‘Recruited’) to become members of one of the largest German energy cooperatives.
Responsibility of the Referrer
The Referrer ensures that the recipients of the Prokon recommendation generally agree to receive a referral message and do not feel harassed by the refer-a-member campaign.

Requirements for the payment of premiums
The referrer must be a member of Prokon eG and of legal age both at the time the referral is sent and at the time the referral's declaration of membership is received.
The referrer must provide his/her Prokon membership number and first and last name for legitimisation purposes.
The referrer does not act for commercial purposes.
The referral is made exclusively by sending the individual referral link generated online on the website www.prokon.energy to the referred person.
In the case of underage candidates for membership, the declaration of membership must also be signed by the legal guardian(s) (legal representatives) and corresponding proof of parental authority must be enclosed with the postal mailing.
The candidate must declare his/her membership by clicking on the individual referral link in the online form provided.
The declaration of accession/declaration of participation created from this must be completed, printed out, signed and sent to Prokon eG by post within 60 days of receiving the recommendation. The date of receipt by Prokon shall be deemed to be the deadline. Declarations of membership received from the referred party after this deadline are no longer eligible for a premium for all parties involved.
The referred party may not be a member of Prokon eG at the time of the recommendation or at the time of joining or have already submitted a declaration of membership.
A claim to payment of the bonus (to the referrer, the referred person or both) only exists if the referred person is not yet a member of Prokon eG and new capital is paid into the cooperative for the subscribed shares. Therefore, all partial or complete transfers from members to members or new members as well as all partial or complete transfers to members or new members as part of an inheritance are not considered referrals and are therefore not eligible for premiums.
The accession of the referred member(s) and thus the membership only becomes effective upon authorisation by the Management Board of Prokon eG.
The shares subscribed by the new member are fully paid up in accordance with the law and the articles of association.
The premium is paid out when all the above-mentioned conditions are met and have been fulfilled by the defined premium recipient(s) (referrer, recruited member).
The bonus will be paid out when all of the above requirements have been met and a valid bank account (IBAN) has been provided by the defined bonus recipient(s) (referrer, referral or both).
Information on premium payment
The amount of the premium to be paid after a successful recommendation from the refer-a-member campaign depends on the number of shares subscribed by the new member at Prokon eG.
The minimum investment is one share totalling EUR 50.

The bonus cannot be combined with other/further bonus promotions or similar. It will only be paid out by bank transfer. It cannot be paid out in cash or offset in any other way.
If a person is recommended more than once, the first declaration of membership received will be entitled to payment of the bonus.
Other regulations
Participation in the refer-a-member campaign is voluntary. Legal recourse is excluded. Prokon eG reserves the right to change or cancel the campaign at any time without giving reasons. By participating in the campaign, referrers and referrals recognise the validity of these conditions of participation.
The recommendation of a new member does not establish a broker, employment, commercial agent, commission agent or any other legal relationship between the referrer and Prokon eG beyond participation in the refer-a-member campaign. In particular, the referrer is not authorised to make or receive legally binding declarations in the name or on behalf of Prokon eG.
Prokon eG reserves the right to demand repayment of the premium paid out or, if applicable, compensation in the event that a premium is obtained unlawfully.
