Our 60-person team 'Wind Project Development' is responsible nationwide and also internationally for the entire process of wind farm project development from acquisition to construction of the wind farms. In our project office in Potsdam, we are looking for a Project Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on acquisition.

Project developer (m/f/d) with a focus on acquisition in Potsdam

Your Responsibilities:

Based in Potsdam, you will acquire potential wind farm sites as well as areas within and around existing wind farms in the eastern German states.
You will be supported by a team assistant.
If you reside in these states, you may work primarily from your home after the initial training, though you are required to be present at the Potsdam office at least one day per week.
You will develop designs for the use of potential wind farm sites, negotiate with landowners on-site, and communicate the project to local committees. This may involve multi-day business trips to planning regions.
After successful acquisition, a project coordinator will take over and prepare the project application for the approval process. You may act as a point of contact for landowners and decision-makers on-site if needed.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

Strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and assertiveness are essential.
Experience in sales and acquisition is required; familiarity with planning procedures in renewable energy is ideal.

The ability to work independently and goal-oriented, while managing multiple projects, is crucial.
Proficiency with MS Office programs is expected.
