The summer of 2026: not a weather event, but an operational risk
The summer of 2026 has shown how severely heat and drought now also affect businesses. Together with 27 other companies, Prokon is therefore supporting the appeal ‘Climate action is location policy’ and calling for reliable political framework conditions for climate action, climate adaptation and renewable energy.

Construction begins in Geldern: Prokon is implementing wind farm project for new owner
Wind farm Geldern is moving into the construction phase: Prokon has fully developed the project. Even after the sale, we remain involved – in construction, grid connection, commissioning, and later in technical operations management.

Prokon draws a positive half-year review for 2026
Prokon closed the first half of 2026 better than planned. The group half-year financial statements show that, despite challenging conditions, Prokon remains economically stable and is creating an important basis for further community-owned projects.
